Backblip from Holiday

This view is from the Keswick-Cockermouth road (A66) in Cumbria. I was fascinated by the huge number of hawthorn trees in white blossom on the hillside to the north of the road, but couldn't find a suitable point to take the best view. So I settled for this wee hill, and knelt in the wet grass to include the buttercups on the foreground.

Hasn't the May blossom been great this year!
