Veggie Patch Update

On the 16th of April I blipped a photo of the veggie patch that I had created in honour of my wonderful Mum who had passed away a year ago to the day at the age of 90. Well despite fighting somewhat of a war with Mr Wombat Senior the veggies are coming on in leaps and bounds. I think the cement pavers and tri-star pickets have done the trick. Well fingers crossed.

Today we put some more mulch around the little plants and also a soaker hose which will has been set to come on for 10 minutes ever morning. It's a very effective way of watering consistently and efficiently. We're on tank water at Wombat Hollow so every drop is precious. I really believe we have to water in winter if we want the veggies to thrive. I'm really hoping you can tell the difference between the 16th and today!!
