Wild mushrooms

These hand-sized mushrooms are growing on a rotting stump at McKenzie Marsh in Aurora. I like how the morning light gives them a special colour and softness. One website identified them as Golden Scally mushrooms. I'll have to consult the library.

I didn't see the oriole, today.
