Narbonne Cathedral

We spent the morning exploring Narbonne, which is a lovely town. After the crowds of the Cote d'Azur towns I've not been very keen to visit anywhere bigger than a village, but we were very taken with Narbonne.

This view of the cathedral is taken from the cloisters (note: no dogs allowed, oops!). There is also an amazing indoor market, Les Halles. Unfortunately, we were heading to Gruissan and the coast for the afternoon and so had to resist temptation (especially at the cheese stalls!).
