The Well Dressing

Finally managed to get a clear shot at the well dressing as there were too many people about on Monday. It has been an annual part of the village life for nearly 150 years. The well is dressed with flowers, petals, moss and pebbles. Normally the well does not have the channel coming out of it, it is just there to protect the clay which the decorations are pushed into. It will all be taken down tomorrow.
