greek tortoise

today we walked up a track for an hour or so to find a pool where turtle, carp and frogs breed. we set off very early to avoid the heat and came across this tortoise by the side of the path. it reminded me of a trek in india when we were looking for tortoise and all we found was piles of yak poo which looked like tortoise. today we found the real deal and it was quite happy to be photographed!
