Today we:

* had a very early breakfast
* were ready for snacks at breakfast time
* clambered on the stones of a stone circle
* visited the gravestones of some family ancestors
* had a lovely lunch at Salkeld Mill - when everyone had finally decided what they were having
* were given a tour of the flour mill by a very enthusiastic miller - fascinated adults and children alike
* went for a walk by the River Eden at Eden Hall, and back across the fields
* sang songs from Frozen all the way home
* watched Frozen - two of us had never seen it; two of us knew every line.


Oh and we tried, and failed, to push over Long Meg (she has been standing since about 1500BC so that’s not surprising!)

They go home tomorrow, the house will be far too quiet, but I will catch up with everyone.
