Mexican Hat....

water feature I made today I used one large half barrel and a smaller one upside down inside. I drilled a hole for a small wooden tap connected by tubing to a small underwater pump in the bottom of the big barrel. It gives a gentle trickling sound Don't expect it will be long before LG smuggles in a few new fishy friends!!! This is a very shady part of the garden where it is difficult to find plants that will thrive but hostas do really well. When the decking surrounding the new water feature is fully planted am hoping it will be a lush little woodland glade where my chair hammock swings from the acer above.
