Beautiful Bronze

I was very lucky today, the sister of one of my colleagues, is Lauren Gray, Lauren was a member of the British Women's Curling Team at the Sochi Olympic Games who, many of you will remember, won a superb bronze medal.

You can guess by now that Lauren came into our office today and I was fortunate enough to meet her and be allowed to photograph this most beautiful bronze. It is very much larger than I expected and much much more beautiful.

It is a total contrast to anything I have shot before but so special I felt it worthy of sharing with you. I hope you enjoy seeing it close up and my thanks to Lauren for taking the time to let me photograph it.
