Peaceful river

Today was another beautiful blue-sky day. I walked down to the river, and this man passed me on his way back up the trail, commenting as he walked by on how peaceful it was to stand by the river and listen to the sound it makes. I was treated to the antics of tree swallows, Eastern bluebirds, and redwing blackbirds, but I wasn't happy with any of the photos I took of them. Maybe tomorrow.
