Puerto de la Duquesa

Day one of our holiday in Spain and we woke to a beautiful sunny morning. Had a stroll down to La Duquesa marina, a well kept harbour surrounded by restaurants and bars, and then walked along the beach to the old village of Castillo de la Duquesa.

In the afternoon we drove out to Benahavis, a typical Spanish mountain village about seven kilometres inland. We stopped off for a spot of late lunch before wandering the narrow streets admiring the white washed houses.

Back blipping as there was no internet connection in the apartment and therefore, have been unable to comment on your journals either!
