Rescued from the rain

I'm not one to cut flowers from my garden as I love enjoying them just where they are growing (I'm a little strange). When I saw that my beautiful poppies I had been photographing the night before were being beat down by the rain, though, I had to make an exception. Rainy day at home spent recovering from sickness. Fingers crossed it has left our family.
