Bananorama

Hmmm...big stretch.

I always convince myself that ANY thing can be lit and photographed to look glamorous or fabulous. Not so with bananas.

These bananas weren't cooperating, let's just say...or maybe I needed more than fifteen minutes to play with the bananas. Perhaps they sensed the ambivalent feelings I have toward them; that I know they are good for me but that they're plain unappetizing when under- or over-ripe and that I don't like them unless they're in a smoothie, muffin or yoghurt.

For photographing, they don't have a lot of detail but they do have long, fluid lines, not a lot of color definition or contrast but a somewhat interesting shape. I therefore issue the banana challenge. If you can photograph a banana in an interesting way, let's see it hotshots.

Good, busy day today, some work work, some self work and installment two of my 'more moving' new years resolution. Love my ten songs to punch, kick, dance and stretch to, especially the punching part, which I fuel with this.
