Dave's flower

Many years ago a friend of GP's gave us a cutting from his paeony plant and it really didn't take too well. However, a year or two later, Dave died and from then on it has thrived. I was only reminded of this when I saw Frank Muir's Blip and went to look for the said plant. There it was, under the undergrowth ( must get out & do some gardening!) in flower. Thanks, Dave.
