This yellow flower (does it belong to the poppy family?) caught my eye. Unfortunately it was on the other side of a stream, surrounded by nettles and long grass so I couldn't get closer to clear the grass from in front of it.
It's been a lovely morning here, bright sunshine, not as warm as it could be, but very pleasant all the same.
We've got a long weekend here. Mr H and K are both off on Monday and it's K's birthday on Tuesday although she may get a birthday surprise before then. Sssh don't tell her! ;-)
