stop and smell the roses

Victor's always loved smelling the roses and quite a lot of them are opening now. He did his usual garden inspection early this morning, found tiny green tomatoes on the plants, checked his peas were ok, and was delighted with all the tall blue lupins - blue's his favourite colour. I like this picture because it shows what a lovely age 3 is, and how wonderful it is to have all the time in the world to stop and smell the roses.
