Pheasant on a gatepost

Today we went for a lovely 8 mile walk down to the sea, along the beach and back through the fields stopping at a pub for lunch.
We came back on a completely new path that we haven't ever walked before in 30 years. It is amazing how many different walks there are around here!
This pheasant was sitting on a sandstone gatepost so I thought he would make a good blip for today!
