Trio from the Tapestry

Spent a good part of the morning visiting the Great Scottish Tapestry. The venue in Paisley is superb ..... plenty of space and light. The first time I saw the embroideries I looked at each picture as a whole, this time I looked at some of the smaller pieces on the bigger works. The sewing, with a wonderful variety of stitches is truly outstanding. I have chosen three from the world of living things for my blip. The peacock has centre spot 'cos my sister sewed part of it.
