New season

... garlic. S and I went round the market independently on Wednesday and found we had both bought fat bulbs of new garlic. It doesn't keep that well, so dinner tonight has to be chicken with 40 cloves of garlic. Or more if you like ... I toyed with making this mono, but I like the hints of green and purple too much.

At least it was sunny today, albeit not that warm. On this day last year, we lit the wood burner.
