Thumbs up for Stephen

Hundreds of people stood in unison to give the "Thumbs Up" for Stephen Sutton as the 2 day vigil in his memory was praised as a phenomenal display of human unity.

Both young and old gathered outside the west door of Lichfield cathedral to celebrate the work of the 19 year old cancer campaigner who helped raise 4 million pounds to battle the deadly disease.

As the 11th bell chimed at 11am everyone raised a thumb and this was followed by a minutes applause. As the clapping died away a lone voice from the crowd cried " Go Steve" and a huge cheer went up.

Roo is paying his respects and gives a thumbs up.
