Daleks

I'm old enough to remember these first time round. And I mean first time. William Hartnell as The Doctor. Me behind the sofa. Boy, they were scary. But in the end the Doctor beat them because they had some sort of weak spot. Phew. I could sleep again. And then they came back and guess what? They'd overcome the problem so were EVEN MORE SCARY than before! How much could a 12-year old take? I survived though. I've never watched the modern version; I'm sure it's great but nothing can beat hiding behind the sofa from the Daleks. In black and white.
