Sweet Treat

Zippy, the Costa's hummingbird who rules the airspace in and around my back yard, takes a sip from my Red Yucca (not related to yesterday's  Soaptree Yucca).

I didn't crop the heck out of the photo as a reminder to keep his size in perspective. At that spot, the flower stalk  is about 4.5 cm wide.  The tip is about 1.7 m from the ground.
