What with all the taxes and what-not, the cost-per-deathstick of these things must be so high that it amazes me the amount of folk that discard them after only a few puffs. This must have only just been lit as the train pulled up - strange, as the Bathgate platform gives a bit of a view down the track that - you would imagine - helps to make an informed decision whether to light up or not.
