Mud and concrete

No excitement today. No exotic visitors.

The rain has stopped but the world is still grey.

And there is mud everywhere.

The building site, depicted here, was under water. The builder had ordered concrete and then was told he couldn't lay it in the mud? So here it is drying in the hopper. This is one of several developments we pass on our daily walks, houses shoe-horned into existing gardens, in one case a bungalow having a second floor added. In the rain.

It meant a day of housework for yours truly.
