Royal Bath & West Show

A day out today at an agricultural show, quite a bit bigger and many more people than at shows in NZ!
The weather was forecasted to be overcast at the show area which proved to be right even though we woke up and left in rain, armed with wellies and rain coats!

A show wouldn't be a show without Strawberries and Cream!!

Animals to win and people with odd animal tendencies !
Show Jumping and other ring activities.
Rob went off to look at the stock while we stayed and watched the jumping.
Lots of food and things to buy, especially for four legged friends!

We came across Two full size statues of a bull and a horse made of an amazing mixture of scrap metal, the more you looked around them the more things you found from old tools, nuts, bolts, chains and hand made mice, spiders and birds.

For the bored men and boys there was a mud circuit where land rovers ( not your average!!) roared around creating equivalent noises to a jet boat race!!

All good fun, we got there early and left before the masses to avoid a car queue, a great day out.
