In Her Mother's Footsteps

Fine weather this afternoon, and after meeting FMO in town followed by a catnap on the sofa, spent a very pleasant couple of hours in the garden reading and chasing bees with the camera.

In between times, I took a couple of portraits and I liked this image of REO unconsciously copying the posture of her mother...bees can wait.

Subject the blue tits, the nest is now empty so we presume a full fledging and we hope the local magpies went hungry...
