Miserable

I have been visiting my mother today. She lives in Suffolk which is about a 2 hour 'not-very-pleasant' journey from where I live. Mum is 87 and always cheerful despite the various mobility problems she has; I just wish I could visit more often. My brother lives close by and so we also popped over to see him - well, we really wanted to see his new puppy, Bosco.

Bosco is a Slovakian rough-haired pointer and, at 14 weeks old, is already the size of a small dog. He was very entertaining as we watched him dig up bits of the garden, chew the garden hose and generally get into mischief!

However, the challenge word for today is Miserable and Bosco did not fit this in any way. Located beside the hot-tub in my brother's garden is this cheerful chappy! I think he is thoroughly miffed at the attention being focussed on Bosco. Even garden ornaments can be jealous it seems.
