Aaben

Well I am cultured out this evening - today I have been to Z-Arts in Hulme, Castlefield Gallery, City Art Gallery, People's History Museum opening and Band on the Wall (although the latter was just to try their new curry menu with the gig on a big screen while we ate). My blip is an etched steel panel in Hulme Park that represents my past memories of negotiating the crescents of old Hulme in the 80s to see films at the Aaben cinema, a scary journey in the dark. The place has changed completely since then and the Aaben is no more.
