The Grouchy Ladybug

A lovely day today spent doing 'stuff' with the boys, including a nice walk and bliphunt in the nearly-sunshine. An evening out with the university friends (and godparents to youngest) that we saw on Tuesday topped it off perfectly.

This is a 'good' native Ladybird and the one that we all know and love. My youngest used to have a theory that Ladybirds were in fact baby Elves...there was always a part of me that didn't want to correct him. When my eldest was a baby, my brother lived in Canada and he sent us a copy of the Eric Carle book that I had always known as The Grumpy Ladybird, it always felt a little odd reading about The Grouchy Ladybug!
