I dare you!
Had such a slow start to my day.. Had a two hour phone call with my friend Peggy chatting about everything and nothing.. Managed to sort out internet banking, researched bridge cameras and looked for new trainers. Then i hung the washing on the line and realised the sky was clearing and the sun was breaking through so i showered and got myself ready... I still managed to potter around for a few more hours.. Bailey was watching a movie and we chatted for a while. I didn't want to rush off and leave him so by the time i went for my walk it was 3.30pm..
I was going to walk to Rottingdean and back, i know that's a six mile walk but when i reached the Smugglers Rest pub/restaurant i decided i wanted to walk locally so i made my way across to the cliff top and walked back towards the slipway down to the undercliffs.
I met a fantastic funny Guy before i dropped down. He came out of his cliff top bungalow with his dog just as i was walking by and as i became tangled in the lead he quipped this is how i always catch my women... He was a real fun character and as we walked along together he asked about my photography.. Two ladies walking towards us knew him and he told them i was about to take nude photos of him on the cliff tops.. They believed him!!! i suggested it would be better down on the beach as sheltered by the cliffs... we walked a few metres and before i dropped down i asked if i could take his pic as he had made me laugh.. He then posed for me and also managed to persuade an elderly lady to pose with him... Brenda and Des i have posted their pics Here don't worry he kept his clothes on!
He was going to be my blip but i love the teenagers living dangerously... This is the bottom of Friars Bay steps and shows the scale and height of the cliffs ... I love the peace and tranquillity along the peacehaven and Telscombe under cliff walk.. I think the teens wanted to be alone so i didn't linger and they climbed back onto the steps..
Still managed to clock up 7 miles even though i didn't head into Brighton...
