View from The Hill House
Tonight I attended the preview of the Helensburgh Art Club's Annual Exhibition at The Hill House in Helensburgh.
It was good to meet up with some friends, have a glass of bubbly and look at some wonderful paintings, textiles, sculpture and jewellery.
During the evening I met up with the young artist Caitlin Hegney who had a collection of original unisex jewellery which is crafted by hand on the West Coast of Scotland. She works with driftwood, ceramics, metals and glass reclaimed from local beaches. Caitlin will be attending the GSA this year in Silversmithing and Jewellery.
It was such a beautiful evening at The Hill House and I liked this view of the garden from the nursery window.
