Foyle's is moving

I've been going to Foyle's bookshop in Charing Cross Road all my adult life. I can even remember the "Soviet" style service where you handed your chosen book to one assistant, received a chit which you then took to the cashier's desk, paid, got your chit stamped and returned to pick up the book.

When I was in the shop today I learned it is closing on Saturday. Happily it's just moving down the road into even bigger premises. It'll be closed for a couple of weeks.

Can't wait for the grand opening!
