Sun & Sky

A snorter of a frost this morning, so didn't get up too early. The day warmed slightly and the sun has shone all day. A perfect winter day.

We debated whether to go biking or walking, walking won out.

This dry seed head was taken along the seaside track, taken with the strong sun coming in from the left and silhouetted against the blue sky....thought I should explain as really after some faffing it really doesn't look too much like the original.

I've been curled up with my Book Club read this afternoon - Glass Castle, author Jeanette Walls....I'm enjoying it so far. Another book we had earlier in the year Water for Elephants is showing as a movie tonight on TV - I'll be watching that.
