Rainy days and Saturdays

Miserable weather - I think winter has struck.

We took Mish to puppy school this morning, and she whizzed through her obstacle course (in the pouring rain) in double quick time, and showed all the other dogs how to do it :)).

This afternoon was a community event at Belair Park - Grey Box day. Grey Box eucalypt woodland is an endangered habitat, and the Department for the Environment has an initiative on the go to try and encourage householders to plant natives endemic to that habitat. So they were selling really cheap native plants - 20 for $25.00.

This year I'll get them all planted in good time, and do my best not to kill them off.

Last years lot - well, best not talk about them too much, but only 4 survived my neglect.
