Quay quackers

While running from the Meadows to Fountainbridge library today, I have discovered this Edinburgh Quay area I have never seen before.

There's glass offices and small blocks of flats with boat parking spaces. There was a guy fishing and this pair of ducks chilling out in the middle of the canal. Peace and quiet in a pedestrian only zone and it's just 5 minutes walk from a busy retail park and an even busier Dundee Road.

This is why I love Edinburgh and it's hidden nooks and crannies...
