Celebrations

This picture was taken by Aranalaya. Yesterday was her birthday; Flowerspirit sent a yummy chocolate cake which was much enjoyed at the birthday tea. Today I cooked us lunch and these runny chocolate cakes previously made for me by my friend Fanny.

Just before Aranalaya arrived the postie came with flowers for me from Fanny. At that same moment came an email from my oldest friend saying she was having tests for cancer.

We laughed and we cried, celebrating the bright blue skies and all that is given to break open our hearts. The gift of another day, another year, another moment to share.
