At the old base

This former base used by the RAF and USAF is at Sculthorpe in Norfolk. It achieved fresh importance during the Cold War from about 1952. To learn more go to

The place is rather derelict now and all but deserted save for the memory of the officers who worked there, conjured up in the imagination.

Lighting is natural and to achieve an adequate dof I used a tripod.
