Bright buttercups

Buttercups twinkling in the sunshine - it was a glorious morning! Gavin spent the morning washing the conservatory roof while I cleaned some windows in the lovely morning light. We had a delicious lunch outdoors and almost imagined we were in the south of France! But now it seems to have clouded over, oh well, it was good while it lasted.

I really am enjoying Happy Valley on TV - I missed a few episodes so had to catch up on iPlayer last night. What a brilliant cast, and the one character is so evil you just hope he comes to a sticky end. Thomas and I have also enjoyed watching Mr Sloane - what a hapless sod he is!

Gavin leaves tonight for Sydney again, and the half term is almost over. Luke has another week of study leave but Adam has two exams this week and then resumes lessons on Thursday although he has four more maths exams after lessons have resumed, which will be tricky.
