Mum's miniature makings
I have not been up to anything worth capturing in a photo today, so instead I had a look around me for something of interest to photograph.
This little wooden box sits proudly on display in our lounge. It was lovingly made for me by my craftily creative mum for my birthday a few (cough) years back when I was at university studying fashion design. She made many of these miniature boxes (each dipicting a different theme and some of them made by request) for the craft fairs she used to do. I love it very much especially the clever attention to detail right down to the 1940's fashion poster and the Pre-Raphaelite picture (which she knows I am a fan of) on the walls.
Apologies for the bad quality photo. I took it on my very old mobile phone as my camera is broken & my OH is currently half way around the world with his. Maybe I will take a clearer photo of this when I have the right equipment.
