When you go away.......

......its always the wrong time!!
So it is in my garden ; Im about 2 weeks late with everything!!
That includes my hedges, that are rather big (7' high) and which should have been cut 4 weeks ago!
So the last two days, steeled myself and set to with the hedge cutter!
Fortunately found only one nest....this beautifully made one ,with 5 tiny fledgelings crammed in it.
And left a good margin round it and just hope these wee things wont get abandoned!
So now my hedge has a bump sticking up ; prompting passers by to snigger at my lousy attempts at topiary!
