Ownership of the nest has escalated. see previous blip.

The house martins have sought to reclaim their nest. Over the past couple of days they have blocked up the excess holes, allowing other birds to occupy the nest, and have re-established thier ownership.

This one was on a fly past but there have been some aggressive skirmishes to ensure that only house martine use the nest.

who´d have thought that sitting on a patio would be so fascinating!
