Taking it easy...

This pair looked as though they hadn't a care in the world. Pootling along the canal. One man and his dog. What could be better? It's probably a very calm way of life on the water. Never more than a few miles an hour with a stop off here and there at a hostelry perhaps for a beverage and a bite to eat.

I went for a weekend once with a group of friends. It was great fun. One evening when the others had gone to one of those very aforementioned beverage & food dispensaries I spent a wonderful few hours with some French bread, pate, cheese & wine. I can highly recommend it :)
