Fun in the sun!

Today's blip is the award winning Kintore Pipe Band opening the Kintore Summer Festival. I was there in a work capacity, beginning a community consultation alongside the local community council which we hope will lead to a community action plan. It was a great day, with the fabulous weather bringing out families in large numbers and contributing to the feel good factor. I'm home with panda eyes and a sunburned nose but delighted we had a cracking start to this new project. It's no penance working at the weekend on satisfying days like this one!
