Grandma Winnie

Today we said goodbye to my Grandma Winnie. She had an amazing life and as you can see was 91 (would have been 92 next month) when she passed away so it really was a celebration of her love.

She had 6 children and I was one of 7 grandchildren. It was really good to see everyone again (not an easy feat when we are so spread over the country) and remember stories of her.

At the cemetery the sun came out so bright and stayed that way for the rest of the day. I knew that meant she was smiling down at us all.
