Carry on camping

Mum and Jack visited this afternoon. We were telling him we might go camping with him in the summer holidays. This prompted Uncle Andy to get a tent out and show Jack how a gas stove works. Although it was 21 degrees today, Jack put on his Uncles wooly hat that he took up Everest.

We have made a deal that when we go camping there is to be no ipads or DS nintendo. We showed him how to play horseshoes, or quoits as it is sometimes called in Scotland. He was a natural, and won quite a few games. When he left, he told his Gran he had had lots of fun.
