A clock briefly encountered

If this station clock looks familiar, then it very possibly is. It's the original clock from Carnforth railway station (a little north of Lancaster) as featured in David Lean's 1945 film Brief Encounter. The station clock was an icon repeated throughout the film, and is still in place today. I was just passing through on the train today and took this blip through the carriage window.
