Canal at Uppermill

Traveled across the Pennines to spend the day with Huddsbird. We went to Uppermill and had a lovely walk along the canal and a picnic. We found a mini adventure playground to have a play on and also a cafe for a hot chocolate.

After a walk around the village and a bit of shopping we stopped at Doves Stones Reservoir for another short walk then finished the day at a Chinese buffet.

Lots of talking and time to catch up, friendship, fun and laughter what more could you ask for?

Have just realised this is a blipsnap with Huddsbird but then it was the best view of the day so I'm not surprised! We took the view on our first walk along the canal but as we walked back the sun had come out giving more of a blue sky so I retook the picture.

Looking at last year's thumbnail 31st May is obviously the day to meet friends and do photography together!
