Cramond Sunset

A few togs down at Cramond tonight, I was sitting on the bus going come-on come-on I want to get there before the sun goes ;-)

Tourists shown the way down to the shore and explained that they MUST read the sign on the way to causeway before thinking about crossing, and just because you see other people on the causeway ahead doesn't mean you can make it and back, reminding them that the tidal water sweeps around the back of the Island and cuts you off. Maybe harsh words of over caution, but I know lots go over, including locals and RNLI has to rescue regularly from there, as 12 hrs is too long for folk to wait until next tidal turn.

Went further along towards the Fish to try to get more sky in, but ended up chatting too much to a fellow walker and missed the last of the colour. Up thru the field I saw the tails of rabbits and the tail of the fox and lots of moths and had very close encounters with the bats brushing my hair along the wall back to the bus-stop.

Enjoyed the night, and managed to stick with it, without being too paranoid by being watched, or someone saying 'we all had sh*te cameras'. Good to know! But just trying to get the best of my sh*te camera! Better to use the sh*te camera than not at all!

Lots of BBQ's and drinkipoos on the beach tonight, leaving them to enjoy themselves.
