Backyard Olympics

Today was the hurdles, long jump and ping pong. High jump has been requested for tomorrow, but I'm not sure I want to risk the inevitable broken limbs! We may have to reintroduce olympic chess.

A productive day in the garden, chopping things down. A huge, dead ceanothus, a massively overgrown holly and a very prickly thing with 3 inch spines. Needless to say, I am covered in scratches and thorns and I can't find the magnesium sulphate paste. I have started aching already, so tomorrow is going to be fun!
