Day Four - Hesdin, France

We visited the beautiful Roclincourt Valley Cemetery, near the historic town of Arras. Ian's great uncle tragically lost his life in the Battle of Arras in 1917 & it was a fitting tribute that we found his stone & paid our respects.

Pictured are the resting places of two of the many unnamed soldiers that are buried in this & the many other cemeteries in the area.

Named or unnamed, they will be remembered.
